A cluster of self-driving cars in San Francisco were captured on camera honking at each other as they attempted to park in the middle of the night.
Video shows a parking lot filled with Waymo self-driving cars, with some circling the lot trying to park. As the cars wait with their headlights on and blinkers flashing, they honk at the other self-driving cars also attempting to park.
"I would find it funny if it wasn't 4 a.m.," Randol White posted in the video's caption on social media Aug. 9.

The company told ABC7 in San Francisco that the honking was due to software meant to prevent slow-moving crashes, and that it is adjusting the software.
Luckily, the overnight honking has since ceased. "I should note that it appears Waymo has fixed the problem," White told USA TODAY. "We had a quiet night last night, thankfully."

What are Waymo cars?
Waymo, formerly known as the Google Self-Driving Car Project, is an autonomous car company and a subsidiary of Alphabet, which owns Google.
The company currently offers the self-driving cars in Phoenix, Los Angeles and in San Francisco, where the honking video was taken.
Waymo posted on social media that it will be testing in Truckee, California, upstate New York and around Michigan over the coming months to "refine our system's performance in even harsher weather conditions this winter."
